What is Watsu?
Watsu is bodywork in chest-deep warm water. You float, fully held, while your body is gently moved, stretched and rocked in slow waves that follow your breath.
Waterdance takes the same care below the surface, with a nose clip and at a pace we agree on together. You don't need to swim, and there's nothing to get right.
Who comes
- Stress, burnout, a mind that won't switch off
- Back, neck and joint pain, a stiff body
- Pregnancy (from the second trimester, with your doctor's OK)
- Trouble sleeping
- Change, grief or a heavy season
- Anyone curious to feel water differently
Watsu is not a substitute for medical care. Before your first session you fill in a short health form.
How a session goes
- A short talk and health form (first visit).
- About 45–50 minutes in the warm water.
- A slow return and rest at the poolside.
- A few minutes to drink, share if you like, and head into your day.
Bring a swimsuit, a towel and water. Modest swimwear or a T-shirt is fine.

About me
I've been practising and giving sessions in the water for 6 years, Watsu and waterdance. In a session I listen closely to the body and its small nuances.
More about meQuestions
Do I need to swim?
No. You're held the whole time, and in Watsu your face stays above the water.
What do I wear?
A comfortable swimsuit. Modest swimwear, leggings or a T-shirt are fine too.
When shouldn't I come?
With a fever, an infection or open wound, right after surgery, or with uncontrolled epilepsy or a heart condition. If in doubt, ask first.
Can I come while pregnant?
Usually from the second trimester, with your doctor's OK. Mention it when you book.
What if I need to cancel?
Up to 24 hours ahead it's free. The pool is paid for either way, so late cancellations are charged.
